My father Funny This Is Our Year Shirt got a Job as a youtube content moderator. He’s in training for a week now and I’m scared about how his Job might affect his wellbeing. Being in a pandemic it’s good that he has a job but still. He works from home btw and the computers he uses are from the company. Wasn’t this known? I remember listening to a podcast about this not too long ago about how terrible it is to be in content moderation and that the company just pays people low wages and doesn’t provide any counseling or support. Is anyone surprised by this? All social media websites have a content review team.

It’s the Funny This Is Our Year Shirts highest turn over rate job in the entire company and it’s just as terrible as it sounds. Wouldn’t it be less horrible to watch thumbnail previews instead? I mean videos are on a whole different level than stills, are they not? I feel for the person but they are an adult and should have quit much sooner. Do you have to watch the entire video? Or you can just pause right before starts or immediately after? to protect yourself in a way, I don’t know. I mean at least for the videos that don’t start directly with the bad stuff.
